I play sometimes with the idea of there being a small tournament with games between allstar teams from each of the major leagues. One team from BPL, La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga... or maybe more leagues. It's not very serious but fun...

Which league would present the best allstar team?

la liga no doubt can form an all star team that no one would beat. Bundesliga and Seria A would both tie for second. Bundesliga has quality players, but the style of play in italy, combining all those defensive mids and all star defense, would make it incredible hard for anyone to score against them. In all those 3 leagues the marking is closer, the play is tighter, there is less focus on long balls, and more of what people call "the beautiful play". Epl would have some star players, but wouldn't be able to beat any of the all star teams formed from la liga, serie a and bundesliga. Thats just my opinion.

@Gonzi Have to agree with you lad, La Liga would be op, to be fair, they would propably only need player from 2 or 3 team when you think about it. XD Bundesliga would be mostly Bayern while Serie A would be most likely Juventus and a few player from Roma and Inter. I also think that a EPL team could be very good if only all the player in it were able to play well together and be at their best form. Liga Nos, Eredivisie, Russian Premier League and Super Lig team could get some lucky win but in the long run, I don't think they could compete against the other all-star team. Also, I have to wonder if it wouldn't be more interesting if we limited the number of player from each team, a bit in the way MLS do when they do the all-star team.

I fancy this so I thought, why not actually make those teams?

EPL: De Gea - Walker, Koscielny, Van Dijk, Shaw - Kanté, Pogba, Hazard, Coutinho, De Bruyne - Agüero

Bundesliga: Neuer - Piszczek, Hummels, Boateng, Alaba - Vidal, Thiago, Ribéry, Reus - Aubameyang, Lewandowski

Serie A: Buffon - D.Alves, Bonucci, Manolas, Koulibaly, A.Sandro - Pjanic, Nainggolan, Bonaventura, F.Anderson - Higuain, Dybala

La Liga: Oblak - Carvajal, Pepe, Godin, Marcelo - Busquets, Modric, Rakitic - Messi, Ronaldo, Suárez

Ligue 1: Trapp - Fabinho, T.Silva, Marquinhos, Kurzawa - Verratti, Matuidi, Di Maria, Lucas - Cavani, Lacazette

In my opinion, the La Liga team would probably win it, although the Bundesliga team should put up a bit of a challenge. The other 3 could battle for the 3rd spot, most likely the EPL team coming out on top, and I'd make the Italian team 4th because of PSG's bad form recently.

Yea limiting the players from each team would be great. Because I'm imagining MSN in front atletis mid and defense, unstoppable really. And Juve basically with some Roma players, ideal. We all saw Juves destruction of Man City.
I don't think EPL would stand a chance. Ligue 1 and Epl the weakest for sure

@Gonzi The problem with Ligue 1 and EPL is that the best team have a tendency to be inconsistent, so it would really depend on the kind of format we would use for those game in my opinion.
