1- Liverpool CAN win at home. While our record is pretty crap and that it's only 8 games in, the point has been proven that we are capable of winning. Even if it's only against a 19th place Reading, struggling at life in the Premier League.
2- Liverpool CAN keep clean sheets AND score GOALS. While it was only our second clean sheet (the first was against stoke city last week in a 0-0 draw) and we only scored one goal, we can still manage to do the double.
3- The future is looking bright for Liverpool because of our promising youth. If we can manage to retain the likes of Raheem Sterling and Jonjo Shelvey then we will be a team to watch in the future. Other notable youth players likely to get some first team action:
KEY- y.o.=years old
Andrea Wisdom (LB-19 y.o.)
Adam Morgan (Striker-18 y.o.)
Raheem Sterling (LM-17 y.o.)
Suso (Attacking Midfield-18 y.o.)
Daniel Pacheco (Striker/Attacking Midfield/Winger-21 y.o.)
Jon Flanagan (RB-19 y.o.), Danny Wilson (Defender-21 y.o.)
Sebastian Coates (CB-22 y.o.)
4- Our 3rd choice goalkeeper may very well become our first choice keeper in years to come, if Pepe Reina doesn't up his game in the near future. Brad Jones was very good against Reading and could be our 1st choice goalkeeper very soon.
5- Brendan Rogers WILL succeed. Liverpool fans and owners (particularly John W Henry) just need to give him more time. He knows what he's doing and has a very good plan. I think the best thing about him is that he gives the youth players some first team action.
