Yeah I do agree watching it "makes this thread looks stupid" :D. It's like some retard malfunction robots in Hollywood movie trying to stand and walk to the ball after bein' hacked... lollll....
Just kidding, it's quite remarkable especially when one robort tries to get up. The motion and movement look nice too.
NOt yet at the level of those crazy Japanese Robots though
Two teams of robots play against each other in the 2014 RoboCup German open tournment over the weekend in Magdeburg, Germany.
The Robots, which are models called Nao from Aldebaran Robotics in France, perform autonomously and communicate with one another via Wi-Fi. There were 950 participants from 21 countires participating in the three day tournment and competed in a variety of disciplines, including football, rescue and dance.
The aim of the RoboCup is to creat a team that will be able the best human players by 2050.
The technology used used will be transfered to more useful applications after the tournment, such as search and rescue.

You can watch a video of the Robots playing by the link provided. However, I would recommend that you guys do not watch it as it makes this thread look a bit stupid.
