Eredivisie is the easiest league to score............ Graziano Pelle scored 29 in one season then in EPL he scored 12 which shows how competitive EPL is ............. If it wasn't for RONALDO or MESSI then the number of goals per game in La Liga would be the lowest.

@Aiden

Lol. Ronaldo and Messi would elevate the number of goals scored in every league.

I dont think these stats really show much. Getting a higher or lower goals per match has no relation to the toughness or competitiveness of a league.

@AidenWe cant get to any conclusion here, your point based on one player is not true for the simple reason that
if i base the same logic on another player, lets say Suarez i would get to the opposite conclusion, you ignored the roles and positions, at Barcelona Suarez scored much less because he had a different role while he scored as much in PL than Eredivise maybe more in PL.

In one word, thats irrelevant.

@Rai
Completely true, you can see it as good attacks or bad defenses or the oppsite at the same time, this list doesnt tell much about whats happening in the leagues

only two things I can say for sure are that Dutch sides are attack oriented while the Russians are defence oriented. Stats of these two leagues prove that...

This stats say absolutely nothing... Maybe the first place which is Eredivisie shows that defenders in that league suck a little more but there is not much we can conclude about it. All leagues have a certain level of goalscorers and defenders, you cant say a league has better defense because the average goals per game is lower, because it could be a problem of offensive power and quality.

The conclusion would be a general conclusion, all the leagues listed are between 2.5 and 3 goals per game average...

That means that the difference is only 0.5 goal per game between the most scoring and the less scoring league, thats interesting to see all the league with approximatively same average despite different visions of Football, professional Football isnt an exact science but its not also only arbitrary...

*"That means that the difference is only 0.5 goal per game between the most scoring and the less scoring league, thats interesting to see all the league with approximatively s*ame average despite different visions of Football"
0.5 is actually a big difference for the avarage number.
Apart from that; I agree that this list does not mean much except the enjoyment while watching the games.

Yep guy, this list shows only one thing: people get to cheer more when there are more goals being scored
