Considering the quality Harzad brings to a game the Goals,Dribbles, skills, assists, speed if he was in Barca or Real we would probably say he is better than Neymar if he is already not. And taking nothing from Chelsea i love this team but i think Harzad would be be even greater with More class around him. Your thoughts . watch harzads goals and skills this season http://adf.ly/1eeiik

Eden Hazard is nowhere near to being the 3rd best player in the world.

About goalscoring, you have to admit that scoring goals in PL is harder than La Liga. Ronaldo and Suarez score 4-5 goals in one day against weak teams in the La Liga. The bottom table teams of the PL are far superior in quality than the bottom table teams in La Liga. It is harder to score 1 against them, let alone 4-5.

And also, most PL strikers don't have the likes of Modric, Kroos, Iniesta, etc. to assist you on a weekly basis. In a 38 game season in La Liga, teams like Real Madrid/Barca can probably play 15 of those games at a walking pace. PL big horses cannot afford to play one minute of any game at a slower pace. And that plays a large role in CL success and goals scored.

All of the "he would be awesome if he played in a better team" arguments are useless I think. Everyy player can decide which team he wants to play for, if he's good enough in the first place. If he was Barca, Real or Bayern level, one of these clubs would've bought him cause all 3 could surely afford him.

I agree that Hazard is nowhere near the 3rd best player in the world, but what 90% of so-called football fans fail to realize is that Hazard was never and will never be a prolific goalscorer. He has different characteristics, but he is still a top player. Hazard often carries the team all by himself and stats don't really favour him. I'm not surprised that none of you seem to rate him as you base your opinion on three Chelsea games and 20 three-minute highlight videos you watch per season. I do agree with @tiki to some extent, though.

@JuanMata10

Nobody can watch all the games in the world, can they? I guess you know Hazard's skills very well as a Chelsea fan. But according to your logic you still couldn't compare him properly to other players, as you simply can not watch the games of every team regularly.

@JuanMata10 Nobody said he should be a prolific goalscorer. And it doesn't take watching 90 minutes of him every week to know that he simply isn't on the list of top 10 best players in the world.

^ but every week i watch neymar or ronaldo for a few minutes they play like average players who wait in the box to recieve the ball and mostly dive? But hey they are "the best in the world" because they score goals even though their team mates did most of the work :)

Chelsea fans are so strange, no offence but I imagine them to look like a grumpy old man that pokes the ball with a screw every time the kids shoot it and by mistake and it lands in his back yard.

Neymar and Ronaldo play like average players? Ok then, if you have no appreciation for shooting, intelligent running, making space, Neymar's trickery, Ronaldo's goalscoring abilities, then maybe they are average for you :)

And if you have no apreciation for dribbling and great vision and also helping your team in defence and working as a team then hazard is average for you ;)

Neymar's trickery in EPL? He would be lying on the floor for 80 minutes of the match. (without any hate)

@Phenohyte + @saatvik: Considering that the majority of this thread is either about his goal ratio or an accumulation of "funny" pictures and remarks, I do feel like people only judge him by his goal ratio, which doesn't do him justice. What even 99% of Chelsea fans complain about, is that Hazard is too unselfish, that guy would even pass in front of an empty goal. The start of this season gave me a bit of hope this would change - I don't remember the exact numbers, but I think he was leading in shots on target after the first two EPL games (8 shots), but in the games since then has only taken four shots. Compared to players like Messi and Ronaldo he lacks that drive to keep going and going - I remember an interview with him where he even said himself that he "leans back" after he scores one goal, whereas Ronaldo is just about happy when he scores five in one game. Hazard will never be one of the greatest like the two I mentioned before, but to suggest that he isn't an elite footballer is beyond absurd.

Hazard is an exceptional player. Only aspect that downgrades him from not being in the worlds top 10 is that he is playing for Chelsea, not Real or Barca. Its just a fact that players shine more when they move to Barca or Real or even Bayren. Because of their constant wins and trophies and the confidence in them winning at least one major trophy. Hazard has the potential to be a Ballon D'Or contender from way back, he just needs something to motivate him to think for himself once. Similar case to Benzema, he can't shine when playing with Ronaldo and Bale, cause these two go all out especially in attack.

But still, for a winger, even if he is unselfish, his stats are really poor. Goals win you games, either creating or scoring them yourself. Yes he does more dribbles than Ronaldo and Suarez but any guy with eyes wouldn't even need to think about picking hazard over them. Even Messi and Bale, two players who are unselfish yet their stats are amazing, Messi especially. Since he moved deeper in the midfield his goal stats may have changed a bit, but he is still creating them. Hazard needs to take responsibility of the team and move forward, score, create. If his teammates cant finish, he should score them himself, he should do whatever it takes to score, simple as that.

Arda Turan has similar stats, even Sergi Roberto, and they also create and dribble as well.

Hazard goal tally would go up if he was coached by ancelotti or guardiola and not.with managers like conte or mourinho. Playing a winger in chelsea is like playing a left back in barca, real or bayern.

Quote 10 goals in premier league equals 20 goals in la liga.

You're drunk, go home.
