Madrid to dig deep to land Bale and Suárez, says Sunday Times

According to the English newspaper, Florentino Pérez is prepared to pay 150 million euros to sign the two players: 100 M for Bale and 46 M for Suárez.

In England, sources are claiming that Florentino Pérez is plotting to announce two statement signings when he is formally re-appointed Real Madrid president on Tuesday afternoon. The Sunday Times report that Pérez is ready to shell out close to 150 million euros to bring two of the Premier League’s star players to the capital.

In separate articles by Duncan Castles and John Carlin, the Sunday Times claim that Madrid are willing to make Tottenham Hotspur an offer they cannot refuse for Gareth Bale – a fee in the region of 100 million euros while Liverpool will pocket 46 million euros for the transfer of Luis Suárez.

Earlier today, Real Madrid announced that Florentino Pérez’s investiture would take place on Tuesday 6th June, one day after Neymar is unveiled at Barcelona.

What's your point ?

100 million euros is too much !! :/
that perez should wait for the new manager to decide which players he wants !! it's not logical at all buying top and big names players and give it to a coach and tell him give me trophies !!!! -_-
yeah Bale and Suarez are great players but the coach is the one who decides whether he needs them or not !

@20ROBIn what do you mean Invincible? Ronaldo is better than Bale, and Suarez is just like Benzema and Higuain when they are on form.

@rama

No, Suarez is miles ahead of Karim and Gonzalo. Higuain is simply a natural poacher, nothing more. Benzema can make plays and link up well with Ronaldo and Ozil, but Suarez is capable of MUCH more. I'd prefer Suarez over Benzema and Higuain anyday, simply because I KNOW that Benz and Gonzalo can't do for Liverpool what Suarez did. But at the same time, I'm cautious about Suarez bringing his antics to the Clasicos. I don't want bad blood between Barcelona fans just because of ONE player (Pepe and/or Suarez).

@20RVP

No, they won't be invincible. If Bale comes, either di Maria or Ronaldo will leave. And so far, it sounds like Ronaldo is the one leaving. And we're not keeping THREE world class strikers, and Higuain is already set to leave the Bernabeu. And speaking of invincibility, Madrid were labelled as "invincible" when Kaka and Ronaldo came, but they weren't. Heck, they were called invincible when Figo, Raul, Casillas, R. Carlos, Ronaldo El Fenomeno, Zidane, Hierro, Salgado, Makelele, and Beckham were there. But what could that little 5 year spell earn them? 3 trophies. That's IT.

@Dynast i also heard that Ronaldo is not renewing his contract which finishes in 2015, he did not like the way perez made his renew a political weapon for elections, and also did not like Bale and Neymar's episode.
imo if Bale and Suarez come, RM will become stronger so he cannot find better team. Ronaldo will renew cause nobody leaves Madrid when RM needs him.
Suarez is more than a simple 9 and his profile can fit perfectly with RM. he suffered a lot because of his atitude i don't think he will do another scandal in his future destination.
