you could argue that fellaini was a flop
Herrera's been more of a flop than Fellaini. Fellaini has always been villianized for some reason even when he's played well, it took Jose starting him over all the other CM's and praising him the whole time to even begin to change mob opinion.
well You could argue that Man united has flopped the last few years then , i guess it wasnt fellaini's fault, especially when he was played as a stiker. He did score more goals at everton, i remember some wicked long shots .
10) Luis Suarez (Ajax to Liverpool) - £22.8m
9) Juan Cuadrado (Fiorentina to Chelsea) - £24m
8) Wayne Rooney (Everton to Man United) - £27m
7) Marouane Fellaini (Everton to Man United) - £27.5m
6) Dimitar Berbatov (Tottenham to Man United) - £32m
5) Robinho (Real Madrid to Man City) - £32.5m
4) Andy Carroll (Newcastle to Liverpool) - £35m
3) Anthony Martial (Monaco to Man United) - £36m
2) Mesut Ozil (Real Madrid to Arsenal) - £42.5m
1) Fernando Torres (Liverpool to Chelsea) - £50m
The most expensive deal in Deadline Day history came back in 2011 when Chelsea broke the British transfer record to sign Fernando Torres from Liverpool. Most of the biggest deals tend to take place in the summer, but this was a huge moment at the end of the January window.
I think 4 of them turned out to be flops Cuadrado; Robinho; Carroll; and of course Torres.
Thoughts?
