Zidane Named His Favorite Goal

Legendary French former footballer Zinedine Zidane revealed which of his goals he considers the best.

The former midfielder’s choice is unlikely to surprise anyone: he prefers the goal he scored in the 2002 Champions League final against Bayer Leverkusen. Zidane's rare and beautiful strike brought Real Madrid a 2-1 victory.

"My best goal? I believe my most important and beautiful goal was scored in the match against Bayer. We needed that goal to win the Champions League," Madrid Xtra quotes the Frenchman, who played for the "Royal Club" from 2001 to 2006 and later worked as its coach.
