Fàbregas might just be the most exciting young coaching prospect on the summer market. In his debut season as head coach, he’s led Como to a top-10 finish in Serie A — a stunning result for a newly promoted side.

Even more impressive? Como play a slick, possession-heavy style reminiscent of Pep Guardiola’s early work. They rank 5th in Serie A for average possession (55.5%), and Fàbregas has helped elevate young talents like Nico Paz, who’s had a breakout season with 6 goals and 8 assists.

For a club like Leverkusen, which values tactical identity and player development, Fàbregas feels like a perfect fit.

Xavi (Free Agent) — Age 45

Xavi may have left Barcelona under pressure, but his coaching journey is far from over. Bayer could offer him a clean slate — no immediate expectations of titles, time to build, and full trust from a stable board.
