Thomas Tuchel Criticized the Refereeing in the Match Against Real Madrid

Bayern Munich's head coach, Thomas Tuchel, criticized the refereeing in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid (1:2).

In the 13th minute of added time, Joshua Kimmich passed into the opponent's penalty area. The ball reached Thomas Müller, who headed it to Matthijs de Ligt, who then scored against the Madrid goal. The main referee, Szymon Marciniak, blew the whistle just before Müller's pass, signaling an offside.

"We almost made it to the final, nearly achieved our goal. We conceded the second goal in added time. Then we scored, and the assistant referee and the main referee made a catastrophic decision. It felt like a betrayal.

It was an incredible battle; we left everything on the field and almost reached our goal. Now we congratulate Real. The assistant referee apologized, but it didn't help. To raise the flag at such a moment... The referee saw that we got the ball and took the shot. It's a very, very bad decision. It's against the rules. It's a disaster.
