The worst match for ManUnited this season. And it's against the 15th team in the Premier League!

Bournemouth won 3-0 at Old Trafford. And they could have scored even more.

Only ManUnited is struggling more in the Premier League than all the other teams. The Champions League failure is coupled with a successful performance in the championship in November (victories in all three rounds), resulting in winning all awards for the month (Best Premier League Player – Maguire, Best Coach – ten Hag, Best Goal – Garnacho). Moreover, after a reasonably confident victory (primarily in terms of content) against Chelsea, the team could have been thought to have gained momentum. Apparently, it was an illusion.

Now, ManUnited hosted Bournemouth at their home ground – the 15th team in the Premier League. And on the fifth minute, the hosts conceded. First, McTominay, in the center of the field, was the first to the ball but allowed himself to be overtaken. Then, Amrabat failed to block the shot from the flank. And Maguire with Shaw couldn't cover Solanke's final shot.

Interestingly, Shaw again played in the center of defense, and this time, Reguilon was on the left flank of the defense. There was no place in the attack for both Rashford and Hojbjerg. Both came on as substitutes in the second half. That may be why Maguire often joined the attacks.

Ten Hag's team was lucky to concede only one goal in the first half. In the 38th minute, the same Solanke hit the crossbar. At halftime, the opponents left the field amid the boos from the stands, which, apparently, were directed not at the guests.

If the first 45 minutes were simply unclear from ManUnited, then the second half was even more disheartening. Bournemouth scored two more times! And again, a quick attack helped. In the 68th minute, just as the guests intercepted the ball – they immediately ran forward before the opponent could organize in defense. As a result, Billing scored a header after a cross.

Only five minutes passed, and Bournemouth scored for the third time. Just a cross from a corner to the far post, Senesi shot without resistance from the goal line. The guests scored their goals with astonishing ease. In stoppage time, they even put in the fourth due to Maguire's mistake, but VAR canceled the goal because the ball hit Wataru's hand.

After the final whistle, the stands booed the MU players even more vehemently. The fans' mood was further soured by the fact that captain Fernandes received his fifth yellow card in this Premier League season and will now miss the match against Liverpool in the next round.
