The Sporting Director of ManCity Remained Outraged by the Outcome of the Champions League Draw

Manchester City and Real Madrid will meet in the playoffs of the Champions League for the third season in a row. Manchester City's Sporting Director, Txiki Begiristain, expressed his indignation at the result of such a draw.

"What a disgrace, these draws are getting tiresome – it's always the same. It's the same draw as last year – just swapped Liverpool for Arsenal.

We will try to remember what happened last season and how we managed to reach the final.

Our opponent has the most titles [in the Champions League], they demonstrate stability in this tournament, always reaching the decisive stages.

But we consider ourselves a strong team and have had a good tournament this season.

The Champions League is Real's tournament. They might not perform very well in La Liga, but in the Champions League, things go well," said Manchester City's Sporting Director, Txiki Begiristain.
