Real Madrid Star Vinícius Speaks Out After Brazil’s Heavy Defeat

Brazilian national team forward Vinícius Júnior has commented on the crushing 1-4 loss to Argentina in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

“We had a lot to talk about in the locker room. We played a poor game, while our opponents put on a great performance for their fans. There’s a lot we need to rethink. I played in a World Cup before and lost. I don’t want to lose again,” the forward told AS.

After 14 rounds, Brazil sits in fourth place in the standings, while Argentina leads the table.
