Real Madrid's player Vinicius has been diagnosed with a tear in the two-headed muscle of the thigh.
Brazilian national team and Real Madrid player Vinicius Junior has been diagnosed with a tear in the two-headed muscle of the thigh with damage to the distal tendon of the left leg, as reported on the official website of the Whites.
Vinicius sustained the injury during Friday's World Cup 2026 qualifying match against Colombia. The exact recovery timeline for the 23-year-old forward will be determined later. According to El Chiringuito TV, his rehabilitation could take up to ten weeks.
In August, Vinicius suffered a similar injury, with a diagnosed tear in the hamstring on his right leg. At that time, he missed about a month.
The Brazilian becomes the eighth Real Madrid player currently sidelined due to injury. Goalkeepers Thibaut Courtois and Kepa Arrizabalaga, defender Eder Militao, midfielders Oreljen Chuameni, Arda Guler, Jude Bellingham, and Eduardo Camavinga are also dealing with various injuries.
