Real Madrid Hands Out Big Bonuses After Champions League Progress

Success comes at a price — and Real Madrid are happy to pay it. After booking their place in the Champions League quarterfinals by knocking out city rivals Atlético, every player in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad received a generous bonus, RMC Sport reports.

Awaiting them in the next round: Arsenal. The first leg will be played on April 8, with the return fixture on April 16.

The reigning European champions continue their pursuit of back-to-back titles. Last year, Los Blancos lifted the trophy after a 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the final. With big rewards and even bigger ambitions, Madrid are clearly in it to win it again.
