The Spaniard returns to Nervión

Sevilla defender Sergio Ramos has revealed why he returned to the club where he was raised.

«I had the opportunity to stay in Paris for two years, but I didn't see it. It was always my instincts and my heart that guided me, not money. That's why I didn't go to Saudi Arabia or MLS. That's why I took the risk to call Sevilla shortly before the transfer window closed to sign a contract with them. It was a dream for me to come back here,» the Mirror quotes the footballer.

Ramos joined Sevilla as a free agent after spending two seasons at PSG. The 37-year-old center-back had previously played for Sevilla.
