MU Captain Proposed Changing the Rule Regarding Shirt Removal
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has proposed changing the rule regarding removing shirts and not punishing players with yellow cards during goal celebrations.
"In that moment, the player is enjoying himself. I think this rule needs to be changed. Players should have the opportunity to celebrate a goal. Obviously, concerning opponents, to enjoy their moment," Fernandes said, as quoted by The Athletic.
Recall that at the end of the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, Amad Diallo from Manchester United scored the winning goal against Liverpool and received a yellow card for taking off his shirt, which was his second card in the match.
