Manchester United Might Be Excluded from the Europa League

English club Manchester United might be excluded from the 2024/25 Europa League, reports The Telegraph.

According to reports, the Red Devils must convince UEFA by June 3 that they can simultaneously participate in the Europa League with French club Nice. Both clubs are owned by the company Eneos, which violates rules prohibiting clubs with a joint owner with decisive influence on management from competing in the same tournament.

If a solution is not found, Manchester United will exit the Europa League, as they finished lower in their national league for the 2023/24 season compared to Nice in theirs.
