Former Real Madrid and Barcelona player Luis Figo commented on the decision of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, to leave European football and join Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.

"The decision to play in another country with a different culture and at a different level is a personal preference for each player
towards the end of their career. Footballers' actions at a serious age
are entirely personal, and we should respect them,"
said Figo in an
interview with AS.

Ronaldo moved to Al Nassr during the winter transfer window of the current season. He has played in 15 matches in the Saudi Arabian league, scoring 14 goals and providing two assists. With two rounds remaining in the season, Al Nassr is in second place in the league, trailing the leading Al-Ittihad by three points.
