Host Cities for the 2027 Champions League Final Announced

Baku and Madrid are vying to host the 2027 Champions League final.

According to the UEFA website, both cities have expressed interest in hosting the final of the 2026/27 Champions League season. UEFA received applications from the football federations of Azerbaijan and Spain to host the decisive match. Azerbaijan aims to organize the final at the Olympic Stadium in its capital. At the same time, Spain proposes the home stadium of Madrid's Atlético, which previously hosted the 2018/19 final between English clubs Tottenham and Liverpool (0-2).

For the 2027 Women's Champions League final, Poland (Warsaw, National Stadium), Spain (Barcelona, Camp Nou), Switzerland (Basel, St. Jakob-Park), and Wales (Cardiff, Millennium Stadium) have also shown interest.

Official bids must be submitted by March 19, 2025, after which UEFA’s Executive Committee will decide on the host cities in May.
