Guardiola speaks about his future at Manchester City after eighth loss in 11 games

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola addressed his future with the team following their eighth defeat in the last 11 matches across all competitions. In their latest match, Manchester City lost 1:2 to Manchester United in the 16th round of the Premier League.

"I’m here. I take responsibility. It would be easy for me to say we lost because of this action, this player, or this situation, but football is a team game. I am fully convinced of what I’m saying: I am not good enough to find a way to give them peace in their bodies and minds. I desperately want this. I am here to try and will keep trying repeatedly," Guardiola told Sky Sports.

Manchester City is in fifth place in the Premier League standings with 27 points.
