FIFA Unveils Club World Cup Trophy
The International Federation of Football unveiled the revamped Club World Cup trophy on its official website.
The trophy, designed by FIFA and crafted in collaboration with jewelry brand Tiffany & Co., features multiple discs coated in 24-karat gold with laser-engraved inscriptions on both sides. It includes text and images that reflect the history of football. The trophy is engraved with a world map and the names of all 211 FIFA member associations and six confederations. The central disc holds symbols representing football traditions, engravings in 13 languages, and Braille. Surrounding discs form a multifaceted orbital structure.
The award is inspired by the golden records sent into space aboard the "Voyager 1" and "Voyager 2" spacecraft and the periodic table of elements, maps of pioneering journeys, and astronomy. Celestial symbols on the trophy depict the approximate positions of planets at FIFA's founding on May 21, 1904, in Paris and at the tournament's opening match on June 15, 2025, in Miami.
The trophy bears the inscription: "To those who hold this trophy: history belongs to you! You are witnesses to a moment in time representing the pinnacle of club football, given to a few but celebrated by many."
The Club World Cup will be held in a new format, featuring 32 teams, from June 15 to July 13 in the United States. The opening match will take place at Inter Miami’s home stadium in Fort Lauderdale. Thirty-one teams have already qualified, and the final team will be determined after the Copa Libertadores final on November 30.
