Fantastic comeback by Real Madrid in the match against Barça! What was that, Bellingham?

The Englishman worked another miracle, this time in the El Clásico.

Barcelona looked good on their home turf but couldn't hold onto their lead. It even ended in a draw! However, in the first half, Real Madrid had little chance.

The hosts opened the scoring early in the game, although the goal in the sixth minute was somewhat accidental. First, there was a deflection off Tchuameni. Then Alaba failed to clear the ball decisively, allowing it to reach Gündogan. The midfielder was rewarded for his effort as he quickly converted the opportunity. Alaba could only hit the ground in frustration.

In the grand scheme of things, Real Madrid didn't even get into the game after such a start. In the first 45 minutes, the Madrid side failed to create real goal-scoring opportunities and didn't even put a shot on target. Bellingham was regularly marked by Gavi, and Vinicius's dribbles often ended in loss and the Brazilian's complaints to the referees.

Real Madrid had a few strokes of luck. In the first half and the beginning of the second, the ball hit the crossbar of Kepa's goal. First, Fermin Lopez hit the near post thanks to Gavi's deflection. In the second instance, Inigo Martinez headed the ball against the far post.

As is often the case, missed opportunities led to the initiative shifting to Real Madrid. In the 57th minute, the first shot on target from the visitors came from Kroos. And in the 68th minute, Bellingham scored with a magnificent long-range strike. Ter Stegen managed to jump in time but waved his hand past the ball.

Barcelona refreshed their attack completely, with Lewandowski, Rafinha, and Yamal coming on. But only Real Madrid managed to score! A draw was more logical, but Bellingham once again worked his magic. From Modric's mishandling of the ball, he created an assist and poked the ball through Ter Stegen's legs from close range – and this was in added time! This Englishman's brace will go down in history alongside other legendary moments from various El Clásico matches.

As a result, Real Madrid's lead over Barcelona has extended to four points. Girona is also four points ahead of the Catalans.
