De Rossi: My interview with the Roma executives took less than 10 minutes

Roma's head coach, Daniele De Rossi, shared details about the process of his appointment as the coach of the Roman team. As a reminder, the 46-year-old specialist took charge of the team on Tuesday, January 16.

"I was surprised and excited when the club's management contacted me. At that moment, you start realizing that it's really happening. I knew my appointment to Roma was possible, so it was a partial surprise.

My interview with the Roma management took less than 10 minutes. Despite that, I understand that critical work lies ahead.

Even the best teams go through challenging periods. It happened in the past, and it will happen in the future. It can also happen to other teams, so we must be prepared to take advantage of it," De Rossi said, as quoted by Football Italia.

Currently, Roma is only in ninth place in the Serie A standings. The Roman team has accumulated 29 points after 20 rounds.
