The Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo expressed uncertainty about being able to participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup when he will be 41 years old.

«I'll be sincere. Over the past two years, I've started thinking differently. Some things have made me realize the importance of living now. I can no longer think about long-term prospects. Anything can happen; something might change everything.

Enjoying the moment is excellent. The goal is to go to the European Championship and perform well there. As for everything else, we'll see. Life is dynamic, and you never know what will happen. You have to enjoy the moment,» said Cristiano Ronaldo in an interview with Cabine Desportiva.

It's worth noting that Cristiano Ronaldo has played in five World Cups from 2006 to 2022 inclusive, scoring in each of them, which is a world record. No other footballer has managed to play in six World Cups.
