Chelsea signed Mykhaylo Mudryk for €70m plus €30m in additional payments.

The Ukrainian midfielder is one of the most promising players in the world. Some even call him the "new Neymar".

The 22-year-old has played four times against Real Madrid in his career. After one of the games, Mudryk was even applauded by Real Madrid fans at the Santiago Bernabeu.

It was in 2021 in the Champions League group stage match. The winger tortured Dani Carvajal and Casemiro but failed to score in that game. Nevertheless, the entire stadium was pallid to the Ukrainian after the replacement.

Earning applause at the Bernabéu, Mudryk joined Andres Iniesta (La Liga, November 2015), Ronaldinho (La Liga, November 2005), and Diego Maradona (Copa del Rey final, 1983). They all got a standing ovation at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Even Leo Messi, who scored 15 goals at the Bernabeu, did not receive such an honor.

The player has 12 goals and 17 assists in 44 matches for Shakhtar.

Although Mudryk has great talent, it is hard to imagine that he will ever be successful at the Bernabeu. His natural position is on the left flank, where Vinicius Junior plays.
