Bookmakers Have Named Candidates To Replace Klopp At Liverpool

Experts have put forward their options.

According to bookmakers, Bayer's coach, Xabi Alonso, is the top candidate to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

In second place is Klopp's assistant, Pep Lijnders, who plans to start his independent coaching career in the summer. Steven Gerrard is closing out the top three, although he recently extended his contract with the Saudi club Al-Ettifaq.

Also among the top five possible contenders are Roberto De Zerbi (Brighton) and Julian Nagelsmann (Germany national team).

Earlier, Klopp announced his departure from Liverpool at the end of the season.
