Beckham Talks About Messi's Demands Before Transferring to Inter Miami

MLS club Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham revealed that World Cup champion Lionel Messi's main factor in choosing a team was finding a comfortable place for his family to live.

Messi joined Inter Miami in the summer of 2023 and has since played 32 matches for the team, scoring 27 goals and making 17 assists.

"All he cared about was finding a place where his family could come and enjoy a great life. That was very important for Leo. We signed the greatest player to ever play the game," Goal quotes Beckham as saying.

"When I'm in the U.S., I go to training every day because I still can't believe we have Leo. I just want to watch what he does. It's a special event for us," he added.
