Undoubtedly, the main event of the week took place in Leverkusen. In a historic moment, Bayer dealt with Werder and, for the first time in its 120-year history, took the Bundesliga title. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the club's journey, and Xavi Alonso's team can still achieve an unbeaten run — they just need to avoid losing in the remaining five league matches.

The Premier League delivered shocking results: Tottenham suffered a crushing defeat against Newcastle. At the same time, Arsenal (0:2 to Aston Villa) and Liverpool (0:1 to Crystal Palace) made Manchester City the firm leader of the championship race.
