Barcelona Star Leads 2025 Ballon d'Or Race: Updated Rankings Revealed
The reputable portal Goal has released an updated version of its 2025 Ballon d'Or contenders ranking.
The top positions remain unchanged: first place is still held by Barcelona's Raphinha, who recently faced heavy criticism for an obvious dive in the Copa del Rey final, attempting to win a penalty in the dying minutes.
Second place goes to Ousmane Dembélé, now playing for PSG, while rising Barcelona talent Lamine Yamal retains third place.
There have been some shifts further down the list. Barcelona midfielder Pedri climbed to fourth after scoring a stunning goal in the Spanish Cup final. Mohamed Salah from Liverpool holds fifth place, while Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski sits sixth.
Rounding out the top 10 are Declan Rice (Arsenal), Lautaro Martínez (Inter), Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), and Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid).
The race for the prestigious award promises to be fiercely competitive, and the final outcome remains highly anticipated.
