Argentina coach Scaloni responds to comparisons between Yamal and Messi

Argentina national team head coach Lionel Scaloni reacted to comparisons between Spaniard Lamine Yamal and Lionel Messi.

The 17-year-old winger is seen as the great Argentine’s successor at Barcelona. Ahead of Argentina’s match against Brazil, Scaloni was asked about his thoughts on these comparisons.

“Yamal is one of the best players in the world, but honestly, it’s difficult to compare him to Messi. I don’t want to say something I don't intend, but Lamine is a fantastic player,” Scaloni stated during the press conference.
