Shaktar played 10 men during 87 mins against Bayern, and lose 7-0. PSG played 10 men during 87 mins against Chelsea, wins on aggregate.

Xabi Alonso was also red card in first leg & bayern played with 10 men still 0-0 Shakhtar Donetsk couldn't score even 1 goal against bayern's 10 men lol. I say if there was no red card bayern would have won easily like this 7-0 :P

Gotze's future keeps looking brighter. If he continues like this or even gets better, his name will definitely resound in football history.

I don't think there was any doubt that Bayern was going through but to give a straight red at minute 3' of the game, on a tackle like that was a horrible call. The penalty and a yellow would be more than enough punishment already, that call pretty much destroyed whatever slim chance Shaktar had. Terrible decision in my opinion.

PSG isn't Shakhtar Donetsk, and PSG didn't go against Bayern.

i agree mate. pen and yellow would've been the right decision to me

I believe the red card was given because Kucher was protesting the penalty call.

epiphill0 12 years ago
It's only fair. The rules are if a player is fouled and through on goal, its a straight red. It doesn't matter if Bayern would go through, rules are rules, and its a red card.

This website seem have a strong hatred against Bayern. Users are getting voted up for making fun of Bayern and calling them cheaters. For example, somebody received 8 thumbs up for stating: "red card for what? the ref ruined the game. Bayern would have won anyways. They celebrated all of the goals a bit too much, was not even plecent to watch."

Lmao! The amount of hate/jealousy/envy (whatever it is) for Bayern is ridiculous. They lose, they're immediately the worst. They win, it's the BuLi's fault for not being "entertaining"...it's a lose/lose for Bayern. I've RARELY come across a comment beside a supporters that credits Bayern München for being Bayern München. A top team that relies on great team work, sometimes the individual quality and an insane HIGH LINE. Not Some harsh red card... Please don't downvote me ToT

Bayern Munich players really pressurized the referee in giving the red card to Kucher. The player wasn't the last man and so only a yellow card should have been brandished to the Shaktar defender. Am surprised a lot of people are claiming chelsea players forced the dutch referee to send off Zlatan, but no one is saying the same about the shaktar donetsk defender, that's double standards.
2
Klay 12 years ago
The sending off so early in the game, especially when it's not that a harsh tackle was made by the shaktar defender is really poor from the referee. Something should be done about this terrible decisions been made to spoil what would have been a beautiful game.

That wasn't a Red Card by any definition. Even the defender tackled Götze down (which he didn't in this case), there shouldn't be a Red Card because neither Götze was going in towards the goal nor he was on-on-one with Goalkeeper.

youre all wrong... it was a clear goal chance he fouled ... red card ...

@klayshxt thx fxck xpyou're comments are shxtthe bayern players just protested for penalty. In chelsea psg game 11 chelsea players wanted to see zlatan to see the red card, thats poor.but whatever no clue from football. mxthxrfxcker

If you watch Barcelona matches, you only can see Messi, Neymar and Suarez on the scoresheets. And they say Barca won as a 'TEAM' . Pissed off. Barca is nothing without them. Only bayern can score 7 goals with 6 different players. Remember 7-1 against As Roma??? 7 goals, also with 6 different players. Same with last night match against Fc Basel. What about Barca? Only Messi/neymar/suarez know how to score. Wakakakakaka

do you even watch Barca play?because Rakitic is a very capable scorer, Iniesta has come up with big goals, Pique can score.and the reason why they say barca wins as a "team" is because everyone is involved in the goalsno hate for bayern though, I love watching them play, and they are a great team

teamwork is when everyone does their parts effectively in barca defenders happily defend, midfielders happily assist and our forwards score, why because everyone gets to score on bayern does that mean you have better teamwork than us? barcelona can not function without teamwork hence your blabbering is futile. i look forward to our encounter in UCL.

barcakes... is right... real is something different.... whole team plays for penaldo. he gets every assist he shoots every freekick and of course penalty... dont get me wrong ronaldo is a very very capable player... but still overrated...
4
john 12 years ago
you are so dumb....Just cause you have 6 different scorers doesn't mean you have better teamwork....Messi Suarez and Neymar are the strikers...They get PAID TO SCORE you tool...
