Sorry to flood the board today with posts related to one club, but, I thought this was interesting. Especially since he hasn't been fit for a large chunk of the season. I have to say, I'm impressed, and while I still feel we've missed Modric's inventiveness, perhaps the solution wasn't to replace him, but to move on from him.

well i know Ajax were keen when he was at Willem II but AZ got him. then he appeared to becoming journeyman when fulham signed him. looks like filling potential now though.

Moussa Dembele is an absolute monster in the center of the park. It is impossible to take the ball off of him at times. And the strength he has to shrug off people off of him is pretty impressive. Great signing by Spurs. Very underrated player.

@PuppetMaster, those statistics are incredible. I would've never guessed that he was so essential to Spurs winning.
