Although it seems hard to crticise the untouchable Conte atm, do you think he was right to risk starting Cesc for his only second appearance? Matic has played really well after all, and racked many assists.

And do you think he played well enough to start in the same position next week, and potentially the following weeks?

Matic is definitely our first choice. He's far more solid defensively and has added assists to his game. He probably won't come up with game-changing quarterback like passes to Costa, but gets the job done nonetheless. We have to keep Fabregas at the club though. He's too special to lose.

This season is so competitive, firstly City had it and look at chelsea now!

By the way, Matic was unavailable due to a muscular problem, so he wasn't dropped in the slightest.

Kante and Matic work beautifully together. With that said Fabregas did really well this game too.His passing is just out of this world. I hope we get to keep him as a super sub, al though it feels wrong to have such an amazing player on the bench.

Matic definitely provides more defensive solidarity but is still great when going forward to though providing a number of assists so far. Fabregas though has the better passing range and accuracy. In both of them we have two brilliant players along side Kante which will hopefully keep up healthy competition for that spot.
