i think chamberlain deserved it,but just my opinion

Chemberlain stood a chance but welback was definately better. He had more of an impact in EURO.

Welbeck may be a bit of a flop, club-wise, but he scored some important goals this year for England.

I'd chose Hart over any English player. 

chamberlin was good but welbeck was amazing !!!!
granted he did sometims flop but when he didnt he was very very good

He is not your best player (fortunately) player of the year is not exactly best player. England still have worldclass players in joe hart, ashley cole, john terry and rooney.
